In our attempt to create a memorable facade, this single-family house in Lozen turned out to be a serious challenge. The shape of the roof created a number of cases surrounding its construction, but in the end, it is thanks to it that the architecture is perceived so well. Two of the bedrooms unfold under it. The roof allows for the unfolding of an emblematic covered terrace, extending up to 3.5m outside the house and creating coziness with the wooden structure and the fireplace. The building was awarded “House of the Year” in the special 30th anniversary edition of the “Ideal Home” magazine competition.
